HP has great support system for all of its products. Similarly, TouchSmart has a rapidly growing user community on internet space. You can get help, support other TouchSmart users or simply connect to TouchSmart user community to get more info/updates about TouchSmart applications

So.. you are not tied up with HP on-bulid applications only. HP provides SDK to allow third parties, Independent Software Vendors (ISV's) or any enthusiastic developer on the globe (and may be outside too!!! :).. . If you can code for Windows platform, you can port your application into TouchSmart environment too ( you need to follow few guidelines though!!! ). Developers have active support system available at www.TouchSmartDevzone.com that contains SDK/Dev Guidelines/Articles ect.. to make TouchSmart development process easy.
